By building type — Healthcare

Pressure relationships and medical gas, on the same generic checklist.

There's no special "healthcare mode" — the same measured-value fields and functional tests that verify a chiller verify a negative-pressure isolation room just as well.

01A field for the reading, not a tick

Room pressure differential is a measured value, like any other.

The same measured-value field type that records a chiller's superheat records an isolation room's pressure differential — a real number, timestamped, not a pass/fail guess.

02One wing at a time

Close out a wing while the next one is still in test.

Each phase of a staged renovation runs as its own scope inside the project, with its own tracker completion and its own closeout timing — you're not blocked waiting on the whole building.

The same four phases, applied to a hospital wing.

01

Pre-functional

Equipment goes in, and the trade that installed it fills the checklist section for it — measured values, not a tick.

02

Functional testing

Systems get run through the sequence. Step results are recorded live, not transcribed afterward from a clipboard.

03

Issue resolution

Anything that fails gets logged where it happened, assigned to a trade, and tracked in a comment thread until it's marked closed.

04

Closeout

The handover package assembles itself from what's already been submitted and approved — nothing re-typed.

What infection control and life safety actually ask for.

Templates to start from

Questions about healthcare projects

Do you have a pre-built isolation-room or medical-gas template?

Not pre-built — but any of the 17 real templates can be cloned and extended with the specific measured values and sign-offs your project needs, the same generic mechanism behind every template in the library.

Where is our data actually hosted?

On BuildingCX's own self-hosted infrastructure, not resold from a third-party cloud platform — if your project has specific data-residency requirements, that's worth a direct conversation rather than assuming.

Can different wings close out on different dates?

Yes — each phase of a project tracks and closes independently; nothing forces one project-wide closeout date.

Who can see room-pressure readings once they're recorded?

Whoever has access to that project and section — a contractor sees their own trade's sections, the CxA and portal-linked owner see everything.

Start on the project that hasn't hit closeout yet.
